そこで VMware は、自社の仮想化ソフトウェアにセキュリティレイヤーを追加すると述べている。これにより、同じ1台のワークステーションを、異なる保全許可レベルを持つ複数の独立したマシンのように扱えるようになる、と同社は説明している。
